Your senior year is an exciting milestone, and your portrait session is the perfect way to celebrate everything that makes you unique. A little preparation can go a long way toward making sure you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to shine in front of the camera. Here’s a simple checklist to help you get ready for the big day.

One to Two Weeks Before:
Think about your wardrobe. Plan a few outfits that really reflect who you are, from casual to dressy. Make sure your clothes are clean, wrinkle free, and fit well. If you’re adding accessories like hats or jewelry, set them aside now so they don’t get forgotten.
The Week Of:
Take care of the little details. Schedule a haircut if you want one, but allow at least a few days for it to grow in naturally. If you paint your nails, make sure they are tidy since they will likely show in some of your photos. Gather any props you want to include such as sports gear, instruments, or books.
The Day Before:
Get plenty of rest and drink water so your skin looks fresh. Lay out all your outfits, shoes, and accessories so everything is ready to grab and go.
The Day Of:
Arrive on time and bring all of your outfits, accessories, and props with you. Eat a light meal beforehand so you feel energized. Most importantly, come ready to have fun and let your personality shine.
Your senior session is about celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime season. A little prep ensures we can focus on what matters most, capturing who you are right now in the most authentic way.
Much Love,
Jen
